About this conversion
HEIC to JPG for teams
HEIC is efficient on iPhone, but it routinely breaks Windows handoffs, older apps, and ticket attachments. Converting to JPG is the practical fix when employees need a photo that opens everywhere.
MultiDecode accepts .heic and .heif, converts over HTTPS, and deletes working data after download. That is preferable to installing random codec packs or uploading staff photos to unknown sites.
JPG uses lossy compression. We encode at high quality for everyday sharing. Choose PNG on our HEIC→PNG tool if you need a lossless-friendly raster for further editing.
For company devices, point people here instead of a different free converter each time a HEIC lands in email.
When to use it
Good fits for this conversion
- Opening an iPhone photo on a Windows PC without extra codecs
- Attaching a photo to a system that rejects HEIC
- Preparing images for older printers or apps
- Standardizing inbound field photos to JPG for a shared drive
Limits
What to expect
- Some camera metadata may not round-trip identically
- Live Photo motion is not preserved in a still JPG
- Very large Pro-oriented files must stay under the 50 MB upload cap
Security note
For IT and security-minded teams
Photos can contain location and device metadata. Convert only what your policy allows to leave the endpoint. We do not keep an album of uploads after conversion.
